THE STORY OF RICO PICKETT

From the 4812 Media Group comes the documentary Married To The Game: The Story of Rico Pickett. The feature length documentary film will premiere in the spring of 2024 across streaming outlets. This is a relevant and timely film that illuminates the journey of Rico Pickett and the trials and tribulations that come with being an elite basketball recruit. 

Pickett was one of the top players in the 2007 class with some of the most powerful basketball figures in the country in his corner. He was a top 40 player in a class that included the likes of future NBA stars Derrick Rose, Blake Griffin, Kevin Love and many more. 

The story dives into his life, family, and decisions both on and off the court that affected his basketball career from reaching its maximum potential. 

The film’s director Jared Jones says, “ The goal is to capture the emotion in Rico’s story and inspire the youth across the world to not live with the stress of having a sport be the end all be all for you.”
